Mark is a law graduate from Cambridge University and was a partner in a leading international law firm, Allen & Overy LLP. He retired from legal practice in May 2006 to pursue other interests, including providing legal and managerial experience to not-for-profit organisations. He has extensive international experience in leading posts around the world in government and financial sectors and has interests in politics, being an active member of the Liberal Democrats.
